When you have your own Apple environment you’ll also want to keep your clients up to date. But, since it’s a managed environment a normal user doesn’t have the correct permissions and you’ll want to manage what they get as well. Having the latest and greatest update for each application without testing isn’t exactly a good thing.

For that purpose I’ll write down the two solutions that I know of, one easy solution and a more complex solution.

You won't need extra software, you'll be using the default command-line tools which come with Mac OS X.

Sadly I'm kinda slow at the moment when it comes to uploading the old content back to Pleh.info. Mainly because this month is rather busy with work, birthdays, etc.

So for the time being I'm making the last two documents that I want to put back on Pleh.info available in PDF format.

On the previous site I also had some content about MunkiReport but the content is outdated so I'll repost that when I've had time to redo the entire document.

I've created a page in the wiki for posting the scripts I use with Munki.

Right now it only contains one script, namely the old Automate pkginfo and catalog updates script I've made a while ago.

Hopefully I'll be able to add more in the future.
